Times Square’s First ‘Green’ Billboard
NEW YORK (youtube.com/adage) — In a move that bolsters its “green” image and establishes a new trend in Times Square, Ricoh Americas Corporation is about to launch the first eco-friendly billboard there. Instead of being connected to the electric grid, the $3 million board is powered by wind turbines and solar panels connected to a bank of batteries. The company estimates that the operation of an electrified sign of the same size generates 18 tons of airborne carbon each year.
Billboard Bags
More info here: www.ecobold.com I absolutely loved these reusable recycled bags made out of recycled billboard! It’s a super eco-friendly bag that’s going to last you a long time. Billboard is already a very strong material because it has to withstand all kinds of weather, from Summer all the way to Winter and I’m sure that these billboard bags will also last a lifetime. The company also makes recycled tote bags, and even recycled wine bags, and whomever you give it to, will keep on giving it and there’s no way it will break it! Boards 2 Bags makes them and I hope you enjoy them while helping our environment!
