This is a video compilation of John MacTaggart’s adventure across country on the street-legal Pterosail that uses wind for propulsion. This is a first. The trek started in San Diego, California on June 28th 2010 and was completed in St. Augustine, Florida on August 12th. Why is sailing an indirect form of solar power ? That is, how are we able to sail the
waters of Earth as a result of solar power ? Could solar power enable us to “sail” the
solar system ? Why or why not ?
